Here at Servaclean, we love to get to know our team well, so when Fabio, our new CAD Technician, joined us, we just had to do a mini Q&A!
How have you found your first months at Servaclean?
‘My first month at Servaclean has gone by very quickly and I have had the chance to see an array of projects go from planning stages to assembly and finally being dispatched. I have found it very easy to settle in as all my colleagues have been very friendly, standing up to the Yorkshire stereotype.’
What is the best part of the role?
‘The role itself has kept me challenged while learning my way abouts the software and processes followed here at Servaclean; working with Autocad and producing a final drawing for a client is quite satisfying. One aspect I also enjoy is the ability to explore beyond your role and learn from others around you in different positions. The nature of being part of a small company means I am always near other departments and colleagues to learn from.’
What are you looking forward to achieving in the next year within the business?
‘Within the next year, I look forward to becoming proficient at the CAD element of my role allowing me to begin exploring the planning aspect to designing a well-functioning bar. I hope to be able to gain a good insight into the entire process of a project and how all roles within the company come together to deliver a quality product.
What are your outside interests?
‘With Bradford being well positioned in the country to outdoor spaces, I love getting out and about, exploring the Yorkshire Dales and the Lakes on my time off. I often try to get out hiking, camping and, if it’s warm enough, love a bit of outdoor swimming.’
What’s one thing we wouldn’t know about you?
‘Having completed the Nijmegen 100-mile walk twice before the pandemic during my time with the Air Cadets, I hope to complete it once again in July 2023.’
