Meet our Technical Manager, Jonathan

As he marks his first year with Servaclean, we caught up with Jonathan Hazelgrave, our Technical Manager, to reflect on his experiences so far, what he enjoys most about the role, and what exciting developments he’s looking forward to in the year ahead.

How have you found your first year at Servaclean?

My first year at Servaclean has been a really positive experience. I’ve learned a lot, grown professionally, and enjoyed being part of a supportive and hardworking team. It’s been great to be involved in a variety of projects and to see how the different parts of the business come together.

What is the best part of the role?

The best part of my role is the variety of work – no two days are the same. I enjoy being involved in different projects and solving new challenges as they come up. It keeps the role interesting and allows me to constantly learn and adapt, which I find really rewarding.

What are you looking forward to achieving in the next year within the business?

In the next year I’m looking forward to continuing to strengthen the technical side of the business. I will be developing new and exciting products, which I’m particularly enthusiastic about, as it gives us the opportunity to innovate and bring fresh value to our customers and the business.

What are your outside work interests?

Outside of work, I try to keep active and enjoy spending quality time with my family whether that be getting outdoors together or just relaxing at home. I’m an enthusiastic mountain biker – it’s a great way to challenge myself physically while also enjoying the outdoors. I’m also a fan of rugby league and enjoy watching matches whenever I can.

One thing we wouldn’t know about you

I have done a shark cage dive in South Africa and got up close to some great white sharks.
